Simple and Free Registration
In order to bid at bid2buy.us you must register by going to our Register page found at the top of this page.
Simply fill out the information and click “Submit”. If you have only one phone, no problem, just use the same phone number in all of the required phone number fields. Check your email for your permanent bid2buy.us online bidder number (If you do not receive an e-mail, be sure to check your spam folder). If you need assistance, please feel free to call during Office/Showroom hours. You must agree to all terms and conditions that apply to all bid2buy.us auctions before bidding.
Bidder Number / Password Retrieval
Forgot or lost your bidder number or password? No problem. Go to the bid2buy.us Home Page and simply click the “Forgot My Login” link under the Support tab. Type in your email address in the field provided under the “Forget your bidding number or password?” section of the page and click the “Search” button. Your bidder number and password will be e-mailed to you. If you experience any problems, please call our office during business hours at (989)893-0222 and our team will be happy assist you.
Items offered through bid2buy.us can be previewed at 521 Washington Ave, Suite 102, during designated preview hours. Preview hours are listed per auction at the top of the list. Previewing is strongly recommended in order to inspect items first hand before bidding. We are easy to find in between the one ways in Downtown Bay City. At the corner of Washington Ave. and 7th street.
How to Bid
To the far right of each item or lot being offered for auction is a blank box under the column “Maximum Bid”. The bid amount you place must be at least as high as “The Next Required Bid” amount. After placing your bid amount in the blank box, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Enter your bidder number and password into the appropriate blank boxes, click “Submit Bids”. You will then be directed to our Terms and Conditions page. After reading and agreeing to our terms, check the box indicating your acceptance of terms and click “continue”. You will be redirected to a page displaying the bid(s) you entered. Verify the accuracy of your bids and click “Submit”. You will only need to agree to the terms one time. All following bids, you simply need to place your bid by clicking "Submit".
When you bid, you can place a “Maximum Bid”. This “Maximum Bid: is the highest amount you are prepared to pay. This doesn’t necessarily mean this is the price at which the item will sell. Bids are accepted in increments and are only pushed up by another bidder. If you get outbid before the end of the auction, you can come back to the auction and enter another bid, if you wish.
If a bid is placed on an item within the last three minutes of the auction, three additional minutes will be added to time remaining to bid on that item. This feature allows a bidder to bid without fear of running out of time or being outbid (or sniped) at the last second. Additionally, this ensures that everyone bidding has the same fair advantage.
Winning Bidders Notification
Winning bidders will receive an invoice shortly after the close of the auction. If you do not receive yours, please contact our office/showroom for the information. Acceptable forms of payment include: cash, check, (within stated guidelines), American Express, Discover, Visa, MasterCard and PayPal.

Close of Auction
At the close of auction, all successful, winning bids are subject to a 10% buyer’s premium that will be applied to all winning bids. Sales tax will be added to all sales as well. Those bidders who are tax exempt will need to complete a tax exemption form and provide supporting documentation which will be kept on file at our office.
